I think – finally – we can say that spring is here. I know, it’s been a difficult thing to dare to say with the horrible weather we’ve been having across the country this spring (giving BC a side-eye right now, mind you!) I’m craving getting out on my deck and enjoying a drink or two with friends while feeling the sun on my face!
Recently, I had the utmost pleasure of creating some delicious cocktails using Skinnygirl Vodka and Skinnygirl White Cherry Vodka, courtesy of my friends at Skinnygirl (no, Bethany and I don’t chat on the phone while painting our nails but how cool would that be?!)
When I looked into the Skinnygirl product line I was blown away by how much it has expanded! Not only will you find some amazing vodka like the ones I tried (and others like Tangerine Vodka or Cucumber Vodka, zomg!) but also Skinnygirl Ready-to-Serve Cocktails like Sparkling Margarita, Pina Colada and so much more. Oh how I love the powerhouse that is Bethany Frankel!
Now, back to the vodka (I need to find more opportunities to say that phrase in my day to day life!) Check out this recipe below for a drink called Skinny Fruit Salad that has become my favorite:
The thing about these cocktails – and hanging out with your girlfriends – is that you don’t have to be perfect. I didn’t have a Collins glass so I used a wine glass.
