Arbonne Cosmetics

If you’re familiar with Arbonne, and perhaps have tried some products in the past, what do you think of first when you think of Arbonne?

I think the ABC Arbonne Baby Care products line are the most popular among moms I know, since they seem to be a great go to and receive lots of referrals from one mom to another (I loved the Herbal Diaper Rash Cream) though the RE9 Advanced skincare products are pretty highly regarded too.  Every year Arbonne seems to grow and with that comes more favorite products among women I know.

Recently, a discussion on Facebook turned to make-up, foundation specifically.  Many people in that discussion recommended Arbonne products.  Make-up from Arbonne? This was news to me, and so – of course I had to check it out and see what all the buzz was about.

Wanting to try a variety of textures, I tried Arbonne Intelligence CC Cream ($45), Sheer Pressed Powder ($46), Natural Radiance Mineral Powder ($51) and to ensure a beautiful finish I started with Arbonne Makeup Primer ($46).

Already loving BB Cream, I was curious to see how Arbonne CC Cream would compare.  I wasn’t disappointed.  Though it’s the heaviest texture of all, CC Cream still goes on ultra light and a little goes a long way.  Actually half of what you’d consider a little goes a long way.

I like the Sheer Pressed Powder for touch-ups but also for wearing as a super light foundation when I don’t feel like doing my make-up.  It’s easy to carry this in my purse and use it when I feel my skin getting oily through the day.  Coverage was great, though my one critique of the product is that I didn’t like the scent.  A non-scent has a scent, to me!

I really like the Natural Radiance Powder and love the way it illuminates my face. It’s a great finishing touch for me, though I admit this is another product I’ll grab stand alone as a quick dusting on my face without any other foundation or concealer just because I like the glow it gives me (and, I’m lazy.)

Finally, it all comes together with a good base to start!  My favorite product tested was Arbonne Makeup Primer! Just a tiny amount really goes a long way to providing baby-bum-soft skin on your face (seriously, that’s the only way I can describe how amazing your skin will feel!)  I mean it when I say a little goes a long way, like half a pump is enough to lightly apply a fine base to your entire face.  In fact, you’ll know quickly that you’ve used too much because the excess will flake off your face like little eraser shreds.  It’s true!  I Googled the phenomenon and realized right away that’s what I was doing wrong.  Simply apply the primer after your moisturizer and you’re good to go creating a masterpiece for your day ahead.

Global Saskatoon Morning NewsI shared this pic on social media this week of a screen capture of a Skype interview I did with Global Saskatoon Morning News and though the lighting is superb, I do want to share that I was wearing Arbonne Makeup Primer, then Abronne CC Cream, followed up with Natural Radiance Powder as part of my makeup routine that morning.

If you already know an Arbonne Consultant I’m sure they’d be happy to share information (and maybe samples?) of Arbonne cosmetics with you!  If you don’t know of one, you can use the Locate a Consultant page on the site to find one in your area.

I loved Arbonne Makeup Primer so much that I asked if I could share it with my readers!  One of you is going to win your own!
