Oilo is a beautiful baby décor brand famous for showing up in celebrity nurseries like Christina Applegate and stylist extraordinaire Rachel Zoe. So you can imagine how excited I was to receive a piece from this company who designs with love for ALL us mommies!
The Oilo Play Blanket can be described in 3 words: quality, luxury, practicality. The blanket has a durable cotton duck surface on one side, and a soft sateen finish on the other. It is a generous size (40” X 50”) to throw down wherever you may be as a safe place for baby to chill. While the blanket is cute and soft, it still has the durability a proper play blanket needs. A solid 2 inch flange along the edge means no loose threads or fraying. My mom (a professional seamstress) admired its quality.
Oilo’s refreshing, modern approach to the nursery shows in their colours and prints. My blanket is “cobblestone taupe” – a simple neutral colour, accompanied by a bold print. The reverse side is a classic stripe, a smart contrast. I often toss the blanket over our couch; it looks great in the living room too!
