At my dental check-up one year ago, I was told that I should switch to an electric toothbrush due to their powerful plaque cleaning abilities. So I made the change and was happy to hear at my recent cleaning how much my gums/teeth have improved (due to lack of plaque build up) since the last appointment.
Until I received this Phillips Sonicare Easy Clean electric toothbrush, I mistakenly thought that all electric toothbrushes were basically the same. Realizing now that I couldn’t be more wrong, my former electric toothbrush has seen the end of its days.
When I first powered up the toothbrush and felt only a slight yet quiet vibration and noticed that the bristles didn’t even visibly move I honestly thought, “How is THAT going to clean my teeth?” Turns out, this is a feature I love most about the Sonicare EasyClean toothbrush, with it’s patented cleaning technology, as it is gentle on sensitive gums like mine. In fact it even has an easy-start that gradually increases power over the first 14 uses to ease into the Sonicare experience. How smart is that?
Two minutes is the recommended time for brushing one’s teeth – and I have to admit I’m likely to fall short on that commitment, especially on days I’m rushing to get out the door. That’s why another smart feature of the Sonicare EasyClean is a smartimer & quadpacer, which encourages a complete 2-minute brushing time as well as a thorough brushing of each quadrant of the mouth through tiny beeps. The easy snap on brush head makes for easy handle cleaning and brush head replacement. Finally – no more searching for batteries when the toothbrush charge dies – the Sonicare EasyClean comes with a plug-in charger and the brush itself houses a recharge indicator that blinks when the battery needs to be charged up.
Smart-Smart-Smart is what I think of when I use this toothbrush. All the seemingly little details make for an easy brushing experience, plus the added benefit of knowing that teeth/gums will be left super clean. I like that it is so gentle on my teeth and gums and no more rough and abrasive spinning bristles. I’m so impressed with this toothbrush that I will be getting one for my 9-year-old son who struggles with proper brushing. The time feature will be perfect for him to know how long he should be brushing his teeth. I’m looking forward to the rave reviews on his next cleaning appointment!
If you’re looking for a holiday gift for someone who may be difficult to buy for, consider a Sonicare EasyClean. It something so beneficial to them and their overall health, and possibly not something a person would buy for themselves. They, and their dentist, will thank you for it!
I love my electric toothbrush, makes my teeth feel squeaky clean!
My old electronic toothbrush died quite a while ago so I have been using cheap battery operated ones ever since and I have noticed the difference in my dental health, so I think I will have to bite the bullet and invest in one of these after Christmas!
never used one

I’ve used a Sonicare for a few years now and would never go back! It makes a huge difference!
we are due a new electric toothbrush and would like more features than our current 2 minute timer. like the quadrant beep idea.
I think the next thing my shoppers points ar e going for is a sonicare!
I love my electric toothbrush as well. I won it from Chatelaine a few months ago, and would never go back to manual.
Shh – I bought some of these for Christmas presents this year – glad to hear the wonderful reviews.
My dentist sells these at cost he believes in the brand so much. That is where I picked up mine. I would never go back to manual because of the difference in care that I receive from using Sonic.
My dentist also sells this brand. I would love to own one.
never tried one but it sure does sound like it would work wonders.
I’ve always wanted to try an electric toothbrush. What am I waiting for?
I have been using an electric toothbrush for many years as I love how clean it gets your teeth compared to a standard brush. The Philip Sonicare sounds great and I love the beeping concept so you know when to move on.
I love my electric toothbrush! Gives such a clean, fresh feeling!
I think its time for me to upgrade. Still been loyal to the manual!

We all need a smart toothbrush.
I love the idea of a timer! It would be so helpful for anyone looking to change old habits.
I need one of these.
I love the idea of the smart toothbrush timing our brushing. I don’t think we brush long enough for proper dental health.
I just won one from my dentist office and have yet to try it but heard good things.
Looks like great toothbrush, I do not have any fab one, since they are pretty expensive.
