DeSerres? Delightful!

Two hours! That is how long it took me to browse through almost the entire website of DeSerres – Canada’s leader in art, craft and DIY hobby supplies. I was asked to select some items to review and suddenly felt like a small child in a candy store who was told to go and pick out some things. I was absolutely giddy as I browsed through item after item wishing I could just take one of everything!

The website is very easy to navigate and segmented into key areas including fine arts, graphic arts, creative DIY, jewelry making, scrapbooking, games/activities for kids, stick-on decorations, framing and books.

I have loved arts and crafts for as long as I can remember and have developed quite a hobby out of drawing & coloring. I was greatly impressed with the very extensive range of superior art supplies that DeSerres has to offer. After about an hour and a half of looking at so many wonderful items, I decided to narrow my choice down to a hobby I already had – drawing & pencil-coloring. My selection included the professional quality Prismacolor Premier Coloured Pencils, to add to the collection I already started. In addition, I chose a Burnisher & Blender Set, the Derwent battery operated pencil sharpener, Workable Fixative for finished artworks, and to store my sketches, a zippered Student Portfolio.

To me, DeSerres has given me the supplies I need to ensure that I make time to do what I love doing and to spend time in a hobby I completely get lost in. I know I will definitely be looking through their site again, as I flagged numerous other items on my ‘to buy’ list, both for me and as gifts for others. The selection is so extensive and DeSerres offers just about anything you would need for home, hobby, craft, or DIY projects.
