You can use your Visa payWave card on purchases of $50 or less (including taxes) so it’s perfect for quick trips to the grocery store, a stop at your favorite clothing store in the mall for a new shirt, or fast food purchases on the go.
In fact, McDonald’s is one of the places you can use your Visa PayWave card. Until November 25th, when you use your Visa PayWave card to make a purchase at McDonald’s, Visa will donate $1 to the Ronald McDonald House Charity!
RMHC is one of my charities of choice, as they say, because I learned a ton about it when I was part of the McDonald’s All-Access Moms program a few years ago. I had the opportunity to visit the RMHC House in London, ON and have also visited the local RMHC House in Saskatoon, SK.
While out and about shopping you can use your Visa PayWave card to make quick and easy purchases and know that you’re helping out RMHC by donating $1 with every purchase!
Canadians are a giving bunch. A survey commissioned by Visa Canada revealed that 71 per cent of Canadians donated money to charity last year, but over half (56 per cent) wish they could have given more. Here’s one way to give more while on the go this holiday season. But it’s only until November 25th so please keep it in mind this weekend and all next week when out doing your every day shopping.
