My 5 year old son and I play a little “Siskel and Ebert” as we bring you a review of Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Never Land Rescue! This special episode aired on the Disney Channel and Disney Junior back in September, and now (just in time for Christmas) it’s being released on DVD!
Will the magic of Never Land disappear forever? This full-length adventure is sure to have your little one shouting out loud. Not only does Jake need the help of his crew, he also needs YOUR help, kids!
I watched Never Land Rescue with my son Jesse and could see his anticipation build. The DVD also features catchy tunes that had him bopping along.
Like most of Disney Juniors shows, Jake and the Never Land Pirates is interactive and educational. The kind of show you don’t feel guilty putting your child in front of while you catch up on housework.
The best part about this DVD is it comes with a free ‘Sword of Destiny’ with glow in the dark stickers! My little guy was pumped after watching this movie, and the fun continued as he ran around the house with his pirate sword (pretending to be Jake of course).
This DVD offers great value. It includes 4 additional Jake episodes…and as an added bonus: 8 ‘Playing With Skully’ cartoon shorts!
