Named the 2013 Infant/Toddler Toy of the Year at the Toy Industry Association’s annual awards ceremony, the Cloud b Tranquil Turtle is pretty unassuming as he sleepily lays about, unaware of just what a big deal he is!
We love cloud b products in our household – it was back in 2010 that we first reviewed Cloud b Twilight Turtle and since then many of his friends have joined him in our household (and beds!)
Tranquil Turtle is the first Cloud b product that combines both sight and sound features in one soothing adorable character! Tranquil Turtle can turn into room into a peaceful seaside oasis with soothing underwater wave effect projected from his shell along with the sounds of ocean waves and gentle melodies! Amazing, right?
My 6 year old has had Twilight Turtle in her room for ages, so I was happy to introduce Tranquil Turtle now, especially given the soothing sounds feature. She currently uses a fan for white noise and in Saskatchewan in the winter, a fan is the last thing I need in a bedroom!
Both my girls (2 and 6) love Tranquil Turtle and I have to admit, it’s a pretty soothing (and cool looking!) environment in their room at night now.
Cloud b Tranquil Turtle retails for a suggested price of $54.99 and I feel the price is well worth the soothing relaxation and snuggly calm that Tranquil Turtle (and all his friends) can bring. In comparison, I almost spent $60 on a dog blanket a few weeks ago with a “built in heartbeat sound”, LOL! I’d much rather spend the money on a soothing cuddly product for my kids from a company that has consistently brought out quality products.

I’ve seen it in stores before. My 5 year old saw something like this in a cartoon the other day and said, “Wouldn’t it be neat if there was one of those for real?” I told her there was and now she wants one 🙂
