Recently, I was asked if I’d like to review Aperion Audio speakers for our household. Without a second thought, I of course said, “yes!” I know my husband had been talking about getting a new entertainment system, and figured this would be a great way to start that new project. I had not heard of Aperion Audio before, and if you haven’t either there’s a reason why. Aperion Audio cuts out the middle man and sells exclusively online. What does that mean to the customer? A significantly lower price for a higher quality speaker.
We picked this Aperion Audio Intimus 4B Satellite Pair ($263). Though smaller than our previous speakers, after reading about them online I knew they promised big sound with no sacrifice because of their size. I could post about the Intimus 4B Satellite Speaker features here but a speaker-guru I am not! However, you read them all for yourself at the link.
While you’re reading, I encourage you to read The Aperion Story to learn about the company’s founder and how Aperion Audio came to be. I promise you this is one of those about-stories you will appreciate. After reading it I’m pretty sure I could sit down and have a drink with the founder – this company gets their customers and understands what they’re looking for. By cutting out that middle man, they’ve already surpassed their competitors in terms of pricing.
The biggest challenge, and I get it, is getting their product into the hands of customers. They’re doing it in some pretty innovative ways. Sharing product with bloggers like me is one of them and they offer customers some great incentives to try them out too. Free shipping is standard AND they allow you to test out the speakers in your home for 30 days to ensure you love them. If you don’t, you can arrange to ship the speakers back and they’ll cover the shipping cost on that too, once received! Awesome.
So how are our new speakers? Well, they’re not going back I can assure you of that – while small in size, they are mighty in sound and they happen to look fabulous too. The wood cabinetry finish is so glossy it was difficult finding an angle that didn’t give me a reflection!
You can find Aperion Audio online here, and also on their social channels like You Tube (look on the sidebar once there for reviews by other outlets of specific speakers and products), Facebook and Twitter!
It is so confusing when looking for quality speakers. Thanks for the review. I love the look of these as well.
