I’ll be honest, it’s been a while since I have ventured into a Lush store. It’s the type of place you want to delve into all the products and have some fun shopping for yourself…that doesn’t often happen with a 4 year old boy in tow. So you can imagine what a TREAT this review was for me!
LUSH Let the Good Times Roll is a seasonal popcorn inspired facial cleanser (yes, POPCORN) that frankly I want to eat. LUSH came up with this recipe last winter and it was only available for the season; bad news for the cleansers rapid cult following.
Well let me be the first to tell you it’s back…and this time it’s here to stay! To say Let the Good Times Roll smells amazing would be an understatement. Some of the key ingredients are corn oil, polenta, maize flour and cinnamon…mmm. The result is a perfect recipe for exfoliation; something my skin needs a lot of. I have tried my fair share of exfoliating cleansers and usually find them too harsh. I promise you this one is not. After smoothing it on, massaging and rinsing…my skin is left feeling soft and moisturized. I don’t even need to apply moisturizer after. I love how it leaves my face feeling silky, not greasy. The best part is your cheeks linger with a buttery caramel popcorn fragrance (my hubby describes it as “warm”).
And apparently I’m not as weird as I thought when I say I want to eat my LUSH because the second product I was given to review is in fact edible! Popcorn Lip Scrub is designed to be massaged into your pout, and can either be wiped or licked off! Ingredients; coconut and jojoba oils, sugar, sea salt and polenta. I use it every few days before cleansing. Popcorn Lip Scrub buffs your lips to Angelina perfection…leaving them smooth and moisturized.
