Oh Mickey You’re So Fine!

Our family loves Disney!  After experiencing a Disney Cruise, the opening of Cars Land at Disney California Adventure and the opening of Fantasyland at Disney World, we’ve certainly had our fair share of Disney magic over the past few years!  While my children all have their favorite Disney characters (yes, I have Disney Princess obsessed little girls and a son that’s always checking out the latest Disney movie, sans Princesses), Mickey and Minnie will always be my favorite and will always mean Disney to people around the world.

My two-year-old shocked me in May when we were at Disney World one evening and Mickey and Minnie happened to be visiting the guests.  She ran right up to them, arms wide open, ready for a great big hug!  When most children are scared of characters and costumes at that age, my little girl had nothing but love for Mickey and Minnie and it truly armed my heart.

We were recently sent a new item from Fisher Price that I simply could not say no to checking out!  Minnie Mouse Cheerin Minnie shows her support with a variety of cheers, phrases and pom-pom routines.  My favorite part, she sings Tony Basil’s iconic “Mickey!”  Side note: that song was on my very first Minnie Pops record (record!!!) and I’ve loved it since I was in Kindergarten!

So, with her unabashed love of Mickey and Minnie so apparent, I had to give Cheerin’ Minnie to my 2-year old to love.  I think they’re a pretty great team, and I don’t mind her pushing Minnie’s foot to bring on her cheers and singing.  Yes, Mickey, you are so fine and we love you, we do!
