Have you seen The Shopping Channel lately?
The Shopping Channel has brought Canadians a shopping experience unlike any other for over 26 years now! Long before online shopping was a thing, on-air shopping was where many Canadians found products they couldn’t find locally.
The fresh new logo isn’t the only new thing at The Shopping Channel; a newly redesigned studio sets to better showcase the features and benefits of each product, including: a brand-new, custom, state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen; refined lighting and a new boutique-feel jewelry set to enrich the view and perspective of diamonds and gemstones; and added studio space to accommodate exciting product demonstrations for runway shows. Wow!
The website www.tsc.ca has been updated as well, and that’s where yours truly comes in. I was asked to check out the new website, navigate through a shopping experience and purchase my choice of product thanks to the lovely people at The Shopping Channel (they get the distinction of lovely when they give me a shopping card, of course!)
So, off I went to shop at The Shopping Channel online and it took me two days to do so. Why? Because the site is huge and full of amazing top-quality products and I had the hardest time ever deciding what to purchase! I suppose the team at The Shopping Channel knew this would happen – what better way to get a feel for website and learn all the browsing capabilities than to longingly browse through it for two days being unable to make a decision!
I really wanted to get these Beats Studio Noise-Cancelling HD Headphones with Case to match the red ones I got my husband for Christmas last year. But then something else caught my eye.
Would I have chosen this fab CHI Smart Leopard 1″ Titanium Flat Iron because I love CHI products and know their quality? Not today!
With winter coming faster than I’d like to admit to Saskatchewan, did I purchase these cozy warm Manitobah Mukluks? Almost.
I actually had this HomeSuite 500 Thread Count Cotton Rich Printed Sheet Set in my cart! But I didn’t end up purchasing them.
THIS. This gorgeous Paderno 10-Piece Cookware Set is what I couldn’t click away from. I kept the page open on my computer for 2 days, browsing around just in case I found something else that I loved more but no, that didn’t happen! I’ve been wanting a Paderno Set for awhile and this one was on sale for a great price as part of the Home Event ($261.99!)
It’s not as comfy as new sheets, certainly not as warm on my feet as mukluks, it will do nothing for my hair and the acoustics are alright, but nothing compared to new headphones – but the meals I can whip up with this set?? I can’t wait!
My new Paderno 10-Piece Cookware set is on the way (with free delivery!) and I’ll report back sharing how the shipping process went and – of course – how my Paderno 10-Piece Cookware set is performing in our household.
In the meantime, visit www.tsc.ca to see everything that’s available. After 26 years, there’s a lot of stuff waiting for you!
You will love the set Tenille, I purchased a very similar set off Amazon last year while it was on sale for $199.00 using credits I had on there and I cannot tell you how amazing they are! Cooking times have significantly dropped and they clean up so well, even when I forget an empty pot of pasta sauce on the stove overnight!
When you first get them wash them in a sink with warm water, dish soap and some vinegar to get them super clean and sparkly. Then once every couple weeks wash them like that to keep them looking new and great!
Enjoy your new set and cooking they are hands down the best cookware I have ever owned!
Awesome Aimee, thanks for the feedback and tips! Do you put yours in the dishwasher?
Oh, just read the instructions/info that came with them and they say no vinegar-based cleaners!
TSC has really stepped up their game in the past few years! I am loving what I am seeing on there!
Thanks for sharing!
I agree, they’ve definitely become more trendsetting – I know I’ll be back on the site and watching more segments!
I am not sure how you could pass on the mukluks with how cold our winters are lol Winter is coming, but at least you can keep warm from the inside out with the new Paderno cookware. I myself am a Calphalon addict.
The Mukluks were very tempting…they’re on my list. 😉
