<– Fellow Caesar lovers, is your mouth watering right now because mine is! I am a die-hard Caesar fan and can tell you exactly where I was when I had my very first taste of this Canadian classic! Since then it’s been my favorite drink year round but most definitely enjoyed in the summer on a deck!
Caesar lovers have all sorts of techniques for making the perfect cocktail – everything ranging from pickle juice or a pickled veggie to heavy on the Worcestershire, ease up on the Tabasco. It’s an art, people!
So, when proposed with the idea of checking out Matt & Steve’s Extreme Bean products, the perfect garnish for Caesars – I was clearly out of control with excitement.
I love the story of Matt & Steve’s – the company was created in an apartment where the founders (yes Matt and Steve) perfected making the perfect Caesar garnish.
Bartenders for years, they poured hundreds (thousands?) of Caesars over celery and wanted to make something ‘tasty, topical, social and fun’ (the brand pillars still today!)
The Extreme Bean was discovered.
It’s actually a Kentucky flat bean (a what a what?) and grows longer, sweeter and crunchier than a normal bean. Eureka! If you’ve ever purchased pickled beans and discovered after a day of being opened that they are mushy and slimy – I totally feel your pain Caesar-friend!
I was thrilled – thrilled I tell you – to find that Matt & Steve’s Extreme Beans do not get mushy and yucky after opening the jar! They stay crisp in your fridge, taste delicious, and make your Caesars that much better.

My Husband makes the BEST Caesars! His secret is a shake of celery salt, pickle juice and lots of Worcestershire and tabasco of course. I love Caesars!!
A shake of Montreal steak spice, loads of tobasco (or even better louisianna HOT), a picked bean, a large celery stick, extra Worcestershire, and HEAPS of celery salt around the rim! Lovely for celery and bean dippin’!

I am the ultimate caesar fanatic! I was a bartender for many years and every raved about my caesars! (I will not share my little secret, sorry) But I will say that for my personal taste I use LOTS of Tobasco. I like mine spicy!

I always start off to make a traditional Caesar but by the time I’m done there is so much other booze in there lol
I love Caesers <3 My favorite way to have them is with extra spicy Clamato juice with a pepperoncini pepper in the bottom, a splash of pickle juice and celery salt sprinkled right in the drink. Oh and don't forget the hot sauce 🙂

Was in California, and introduced my friends to our mighty Caesar. They all loved the drink, now some of the bars carry Clamato juice and they used Olives for the garnish. Yummy!!!

Love Caesars – usually have a 1/4 dill slice for garnish (and snack)
Caesars are amazing after a long day at work or any other time and the only garnish for a spicy Caesar is the extreme bean! If you haven’t tried them you need too..I buy them from our local bar for my at home Caesars 🙂

They also have Dill Pickle Caesars, they’re ok too but I don’t enjoy them as much as the Bacon ones.

When we have a BBQ Caesars are the go to drink always. I don’t do anything special but it has to be made with fresh ground pepper. I would not even think about putting in spicy beans until reading your post, sounds good to me.
