Build-A-Bear Workshop Makes a Splash with New SpongeBob SquarePants Collection

“For the first time ever, Build-A-Bear Workshop Guests can finally take home the underwater fun of SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends,” said Maxine Clark, Build-A-Bear Workshop founder and chief executive bear. “We are excited to be working with Nickelodeon to bring this iconic series and its loveable characters to life at Build-A-Bear Workshop.”

When I heard about SpongeBob SquarePants coming to Build-A-Bear, I knew my kids (all three of them!) would freak!  They love SpongeBob and I don’t particularly mind the little guy either.  I particularly love the Pineapple House and need to get my hands on that next.

Next, I say, because we were sent both SpongeBob and Patrick for my kids!  As expected, my girls freaked when they found SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick hanging out on their bed (my son, so aloof at 9, doesn’t particularly play with them like my daughter’s do but still gets a kick out of them…I’ll take that!)

Guests at Build-A-Bear can dress their SpongeBob and Patrick plush in a variety of clothing and accessories including:

· SpongeBob’s Pirate Costume ($17)
· Patrick’s Pirate Costume ($15)
· Pineapple House ($14)
· SpongeBob SquarePants Song Sound Chip ($6.50)

Both SpongeBob and Patrick have been having some great adventures in our household with the girls these past few weeks!  I have, however, found Patrick down in my son’s room so I think – though he’ll refuse to admit it – they are having some adventures as well.
