Robeez – How I’ll Miss You!

RobeezIt was over eight years ago now, but I can remember when I first learned of Robeez soft-soled shoes. A friend had stopped by for a quick visit with her daughter, close in age to my infant son, and I fell in love with her little “slipper shoes”. The next day, as mommies do, I headed out to find a pair for my baby as well. I never looked back.

While my three kids have had a multitude of shoes, and it would be difficult to pick an ultimate favorite, I can say that each of my children has had at least one pair of Robeez, if not um…more than one pair. 😉

What’s not to love? The shoes always slip on easily (but stay on despite the attempts of curious babies), are perfect for backyard adventures when baby starts walking, and the resale is great (frugal me!) Moms know the Robeez brand and know the value of a pair of great Robeez shoes.

So, when given the opportunity to try out one last pair of Robeez shoes (they only go up to size 18-24 months!) I was happy, yet sad, to partake.

Everleigh loves her Olivia Mini Shoez by Robeez (shoes with a rubber sole instead of leather soft sole) because she can put them on by herself.  At just over 2 years old, the 18-24 size fits perfectly for Spring.  I’ve always found Robeez to fit a bit big in the beginning of the size-range so I knew that we could use these shoes for a few months at least.

I’m sad, though, that this is our goodbye to Robeez.  It’s been a lovely 8 years, Robeez, and you’ve definitely been a part of my children’s infancy and our memories!

  • I love robeez! Got our first pair with some hand-me-downs and once our girl out grew them I knew we had to get more. Its so hard to keep any kind of footwear on her but the robeez are cute so she doesn’t mind them as much.

  • They’ve changed their sizing lines?! That’s upsetting… We loved them for our kids instead of regular slippers inside the house. I’m so glad I bought a few pairs last Boxing day. They should last us through the next winter. And then, I’ll have to find something else…

    • I don’t think they changed anything, Ira. I think they always went up to only size 18-24m? Maybe I’m mistaken though.

  • I had a bit of a Robeez obsession. Michael had about 10 or 12 pairs over his time in them. I had the Robeez boots for him as well. So awesome! They really are an amazing shoe for the wee ones, and the designs are adorable! I kept a few fave pairs for the memories 🙂

  • I didn’t know that you could get Robeez with actual rubber soles. My dude is on the verge of walking (he’s taken his first steps), so I wasn’t wanting to replace the awesome R2D2 Robeez he’s about to outgrow, thinking they only made soft soles. Good to know, thanks!

  • Lucy’s feet grew too fast, and we are out of Robeez range as well. They were amazing! Especially the winter boots. I loved all the styles.

  • I found a pair of robeez sandals with a rubber sole (who knew there was such thing?!) from a thrift store in size 18-24 mos and they fit my 3 year old daughter. we both love them!!!

  • My sister has always raved about these. With our first child coming in November, I can’t wait to buy some of these!!!
