Can you feel it? I think spring is officially (finally!) here. Everyone seems to be enjoying this beautiful weather right across Canada this weekend! Families are in their yards, at events, and loving the feel of the sun finally on their skin! I think we’re all a little sun-starved and I know I’m loving that warmth! Surprisingly, my arm got a bit sun-kissed yesterday afternoon while sitting in my vehicle waiting to pick up my son from school! Whoops.
Now is the time, moms, for me to give you a gentle reminder about skin care. My favorite summer activity is our annual 15,000 km road trip to see family!! Plenty of antiquing, going to the beach and disney world to visit my cousin that works there…all 3 of these outdoor acitivties require plenty of sunscreen!!
This may sound silly, but I LOVE hula hooping! I’ve learned all kinds of cool tricks, and it’s a great way to exercise (especially if you’re doing tricks!) It’s really fun 🙂 And it’s definitely an outdoor activity – I have nearly broken windows during the winter trying to hoop indoors! =P
