Today, finally, we are experiencing a spring-like day in Saskatchewan. true to form, the winds are blowing but we’re not letting that get us down. People are just generally happier this weekend.
I’ve been washing and packing away winter gear, trading my storage bin of shorts and tanks and replacing sweaters and jeans and closing the lid!
I’m pulling out sandals and packing away boots.
I’m also having fun playing with all the luscious scents of summer in my lotions, fragrances and of course lip gloss (lip gloss junkie here).

I sampled from the Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss (Sunny Day, seen to the left), Lip Shine (Flutter, seen at right) and Tinted Lip Balm (Caramel Daisy, at the bottom!)
They all look fabulous (and taste good too!) and have staying-pucker-put power too. The Tinted Lip Balm is especially great for long-lasting wear. Dare I say it’s da balm??? Get it? I’m here all week, people.
Of course, being Burt’s Bees, you know you’re going to find amazing natural ingredients in these lip glosses. I know, we’ve all seen the creepy photos and videos online about lip gloss made with other ingredients. Urban legends or not (I take everything I see online with a huge grain of salt), the fact that you can find a natural alternative in beauty products is never a bad thing!
