They say Spring is in the air (though we haven’t felt that air here in Saskatchewan just yet!)  but I like the saying so I’ll go with it.  With Spring comes Easter gatherings, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day right before spring turns into the lazy hazy days of summer.  Summer is about travel and relaxing and it seems like Spring is about getting all the big stuff done before that happens!

Hallmark, of course, is a go-to store for all occasions.  When I discovered this Spring’s adorable animated gift, Thumpin’ Thumper, I had to email my sister immediately and tell her about it.  I’ve mentioned my wacky-animated-gift-loving sister before.  She loves the Squackin’ Egg Dropping Hen too, and bought one after seeing the one I gave my mom last year.  Other Easter gift ideas include Mason Interactive Story Buddy (my kids love Story Buddies!) and of course Bloomin’ Expressions for adults (new ones come with music!)

  • I get all my cards there. I love the selection! I also buy my son one special Christmas ornament every year

  • I’m not sure if they still carry them, but I used to buy my friends these little Precious Moments ceramic jewellery boxes. They had a little quote on them, and a birthstone. Was a nice keepsake, and something special for my friends’ birthdays.
    Other than that, Hallmark has such a great selection of cards, so I buy lots of those.

  • I like to shop at Hallmark for their awesome selection of cards for every occasion.

  • Honestly, I don’t get to shop at Hallmark that much, but for my Dad’s 90th birthday, I found an awesome card. It was a little pricey, but it was one of those joke cards that was Huge, and he got a good laugh out of it!

  • Christmas ornaments. We have a tradition in our family where everyone gets a new ornament each year in our special “Christmas Eve Box,” which is full of goodies to enjoy Christmas Eve (hot chocolate, a new movie, PJs, etc.). I always get our ornaments at Hallmark, they have a great selection.

  • The reading buddies. Addicted. My daughter has Watson and most of his books and Jingle and one of his books. I neeeeed to get the book with Watsons vest and I will get her Belle (Jingles female friend) for this upcoming Christmas!

  • The books where you can record youself reading :). My daughter loves hers that she got from her grandpa that is always away working. 🙂

  • My favorite thing to shop for at Hallmark is the recordable books. I think they make a nice gift .

  • Every year we go to Hallmark with the kids and they get to each pick one new ornament for our Christmas tree. It’s pretty interesting to see what they select every year and how their preferences change as they get older.

  • There are so many things that I love to buy at Hallmark but I would have to say my favorite thing is their christmas decorations!

  • I always buy my sons a Christmas ornament from Hallmark each year. I also love all the other super cute ornaments they sell. When I was getting my boys their ornaments last year they had a teddy bear you could leave messages on for your child to hear if you weren’t around. So cute!!

  • I love Hallmark I was just there the other day. my sister is came to visit so I wanted to get her something to put on her pillow everynight. So I got some of the ittle metal rocks that a sayings on them. and for the last day I am putting a glass mug on her pillow that says, you have me as a sister and there’s nothing you can do about it. lol. but my favorite thing is the christmas stuff they put out.

  • I always go in to get cards and end up with all sorts of things from ornamments to stuff animals and xmas cards for the following year. Favourite part is the surprise of what little treasure you will find.

  • I love cards and I am always shopping for new ones. I have a box of cards and some that I may never use. I have bought these ones simply because of the picture. Sometimes reading cards at Hallmark make me cry!

  • I have been giving my wife a little stuffed animal for her birthday for the past 31 years. And she still loves to get them.

  • I get the kids a Christmas ornament every year from Hallmark and of course they have the best cards.
