Sofia The First, Cinderella and Mickey, Oh My!

Disney Junior Logo

It’s January and it’s cold outside!  After the tobogganing and backyard snow fort play, take those little red noses inside under a warm blanket and see what’s new on Disney Junior this month!

Sofia the First Family

Sofia The First: Once Upon a Princess made a huge debut on Disney Junior on November 24th (easy for me to remember since it was my daughter’s 5th birthday!) and since then, we’ve seen it oh about eleventy-billion times in our household!  So much so that not only does my 5 year old sing along to the songs “I’m not ready to be a princess…” but her almost-2-year-old sister sings along as well!  Oh yes, we’re very much in love with Sofia The First over here!

Once Upon a Princess was our introduction to Sofia and her family, and the now the  series premiere of Sofia The First is coming on Saturday, January 19th at 6pm here in Saskatchewan! Sunday January 27th at 10:30am SK will bring viewers another all-new episode (Sundays at 10:30 SK will be the regular time slot for Sofia so make sure to set your PVR!)

cinderella II

Cinderella is MY favorite Disney Princess!  As a kid I can remember flipping through my Cinderella book over and over – the story captivated me from an early age (maybe it was the shoes?)

Cinderella premieres on Disney Junior on Saturday January 19th at 4:45pm here in SK (right before the series premiere of Sofia the First!) AND Cinderella II: Dreams Come True will premiere on Sunday January 27th at 9:15am SK time.  I love that Disney Junior is bringing together my favorite Disney Princess and Sofia the First all in one day – talk about the passage of time and memories between mother and daughters!

Disclosure: I’m part of the Disney Junior Mom program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

  • Lucy loves this show too! We saw bits and pieces of it during Christmas vacation, and she was just glued to the screen.
