Giveaways and Reviews My Fabulous Life

We’re Going to Disney World!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and some say the most wonderful time to visit Disney Parks, when they’re decked out for the holidays (truly, no one does it better!)

Last year, our family visited Disneyland in California, on our way to our amazing cruise on the Disney Wonder. It was absolutely magical being at Disneyland during the holiday season – the trees were breathtaking, the decorations were like nothing any of us had ever seen before, and the joy of the cast members was contagious.

This year, our family has been invited to the New Fantasyland Grand Opening being held on December 6th in Magic Kingdom!  This trip is truly a dream trip for my daughter who will turn 5 a week before we leave!  This is the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history and includes 2 new themed areas:  Enchanted Forest and Storybook Circus.

Enchanted Forest attractions include Under The Sea: The Journey of the Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant (you’re singing the tune now aren’t you?), Enchanted Tales With Belle, Gasotn’s Tavern and Ariel’s Grotto.

We’re spending a few extra days at Disney World because there is just so much to take in at this park and I can’t wait to share it all with my readers as my family experiences the holidays at one of the most magical places on earth!  I’ll be keeping you all updated on Facebook and Twitter during the trip and of course will share some posts on our experiences later on.

For now, my 8 year old has been assigned the duty of Disney World research online and my soon-to-be-5-year-old princess is chattering non-stop about Belle and “the Beast” and even that silly Gaston!

Me, I’m dreaming about all the lights and seeing the wonder on my kid’s faces.  My husband, likely, is figuring out how exactly he’s going to haul all the luggage and stroller from Saskatchewan to Florida, realizing that we’re going to come back with more than a few souvenirs!

The kids have just been told (a magical moment right there too!) and now we’re just counting down the days until we leave December 3rd for Orlando!

I can’t wait to be a guest at Fantasyland!
