Walmart’s Holiday Magic Planner – Tips, Tricks and More!

If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to check out the Holiday Magic Planner on Walmart.ca!  I saw an ad on my own blog’s sidebar for it and clicked on it, as I often do to see what ads my site is sharing, and spent a good deal of time clicking through all the great ideas Walmart has to offer this holiday season.

Written in a blog-post format, the Holiday Magic Planner shares tips for decorating the tree, DIY photo frame ideas for the kids, and even printable tools like a Holiday Checklist to help everyone stay organized and on task as we count down to Christmas!  Of course, there’s also a helpful countdown to Christmas notice on the home page of the Holiday Magic Planner, but I avoid looking at it altogether lest it give me a panic attack.

Naturally, Walmart has everything you need for all your holiday planning.  This year we decided it was time for a new tree, after struggling with our old one for too long.  We looked at a certain warehouse store and I backed away quickly when I discovered they were around $350!  For a Christmas tree!  At that rate, there may not be any gifts under the tree!

Instead, I looked at Walmart online and kept an eye on the Walmart flyer and found the perfect tree for our household.  We just picked up this gorgeous 7FT Pre-lit LED Edgewood PE/PVC Spruce tree for $227.00.  It’s much taller than our old one and its branches are more full as well.

Assembly was easy, just attaching each portion of the tree on top of the previous, and the stand is sturdy as well (no need to buy a different one to support such a nice tall tree).  I even picked up a few new decorations this year including some silver ribbon and lilac, blue, silver and pearl ornaments (which is a big change from the red/gold theme we’ve had in years previous).  It’s refreshing to have an entirely new look this year and at Walmart’s prices it didn’t leave me without cash for presents either!

I tried to find a link to the new tree topper we bought at Walmart as well but no luck, so you’ll just have to go in store to find all the new decorations we got as well!

Isn’t it gorgeous?  I so love my new Christmas tree! Check out Walmart’s Holiday Magic Planner for holiday tips, tricks and info (as well as that countdown which gives me hives!) and shop in store or online for everything you need for the holidays!

Disclosure: I was provided with a Walmart gift card to purchase our gorgeous new tree for this post.
