Nicole by OPI announces the launch of Wel-Kim to My World, a collection of new nail lacquers inspired by Kim Kardashian. The line features six pastel-hued shades in white, pink, blue and honey tones that give nails a subtle pop of colour. Lacquers Lights, Kim-era, Action! and Here Kim’s the Sun feature glitter and opalescent shimmer to create an added element of glitz.
“These six new lacquers really showcase Kim’s flirty, feminine side,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Nicole by OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Kim often wears pink, white and other softer-toned shades; these colours are great for creating a classic, elegant look that works day or night.”

“Spring is the perfect time to add lighter tones to your look,” adds Weiss-Fischmann. “Candy-coated colours in pastel shades are always popular during this season. These ladylike hues look great with the blousy tops and frothy dresses that walked the runways for spring.”
When going through my nail polish collection recently, I realized I have a lot of dark colors and very few light spring shades. So, when I received these 6 new shades I was thrilled! I’ve been wearing them non-stop since which says a lot since up until about 6 weeks ago I rarely wore nail polish on my fingernails (toes are so much easier, no one notices when it’s time for a re-do!)
My favorite is Kim Konfidential – the honey tone is great for spring and it looks great with anything I’m wearing. I typically do 2 coats of any Nicole by OPI laquer, though these pastel colors are light enough that you could do 3 to be extra efficient. 😉
