Recordable Storybooks from Hallmark

Have you seen any of the Recordable Storybooks from Hallmark commercials on tv this holiday season?  Every time I see the one of the military dad opening the book he receives from his kids, it chokes me up!  If you thought the commercials were touching, you should check out the Recordable Storybooks section of the Hallmark.com site and read some of the stories from people who have purchased the books!

Have you had a chance to try out a book yet?  I had not, until recently, when I was sent The Night Before Christmas.  I recorded the story for my kids and am going to give it to them a few days before Christmas.  What I love about this seasonal book is that it can be packed away with our Christmas tree and decorations and each year the kids can listen to it!

One of my favorite books of all time is Love You Forever but unfortunately I can not, can not, CAN NOT read it out loud to my kids without having my voice crack and getting all teary.  Every. Single. Time.  When I saw it was available as a recordable storybook, I smiled.  It would take me forever to just get the book recorded but once it was done, it would definitely be a keepsake for my kids.

The entire line of Recordable Storybooks from Hallmark can be seen on the Hallmark site, and new titles are coming soon.  Of course, you can also check them out at your closest Hallmark location.  Now that I’ve had the chance to record a storybook, I want to check out other titles.

I just know it will be awhile before I can conquer Love You Forever!
