When I was given the opportunity to pick any bedding set from Beyond Bedding to review this fall, I had to ponder who was most in need of a new set. We just bought Elijah a new comforter and I love our current set. I decided to get a new bedding set for Nevaeh’s bed. She had a (typical) Princess comforter on her bed but I wanted to get her something that could grow with her. Princesses may be cute at 3 but no so cute at 10. Our holiday stress reliever tip, there are two of them,
Get together with friends, drink wine, talk and do a whole day of baking and then split it all, Fun, fabulous conversation, and baking variety!!
Also, we always order takeout and a movie and my husband and I sit in front, eating drinking and wrapping all the gifts, so it is done and doesn’t seem to take forever, this way the two hours goes quickly!

How to reduce holiday stress. wow. hard. one.
Well with Chronic Illness for around a decade I am going to say to stop trying to have your house look like something in a magazine and concentrate on preparing good food (at least some of it healthy), and getting the shopping done. that is what kids will remember most, and since that part of Christmas is for kids, pick your holiday chores wisely. You wont be able to enjoy time with them if exhausted. For holiday travel, avoid stress by being prepared. Pack early, keep your phone charged for emergencies, and allow plenty of time ahead for airport (call ahead for delays) or if driving, bad weather. Use hand sanitizer at those holiday get togethers and dont worry if some thinks you are a freak…you will be able to dodge the bugs THEY will get. This year we have a newborn in the house after 12 years of not having a tiny one, so the stress might be compounded by lost sleep and low funds here. But all in all, Christmas is about family so enjoy it no matter WHAT the circumstance!

Reduce holiday stress by having thngs prepared ahead of time. Also, assign the kids tasks that are age apprioriate and have them help out (that includes hubby). And don’t say “yes” to everything — just participate in the activities that you really want to do.
