My older two kids (still seems weird to say that as a mama of three) are both off to school this week, and it’s bittersweet of course. All the school supplies are packed and the kid’s are excited to see their friends. Home organization is the next step – now that the kids are out of the house maybe I can have a hope of getting it clean and organized.
While Frecklebox is known for personalized gifts for school, they also have great ideas for home organization as well! I use the personalized binders from Freckebox for keeping Elijah’s activity schedules, school notes, book order forms and more organized in one place (you can thank me for this idea later, moms). He knows that the binder with his name on it is the one we need to hunt down during frantic mornings when notes need to be signed and forms filled out.
The personalized folders are great for keeping notes and forms organized as well, though I find that because they are smaller I’m more likely to misplace it so we use these for art projects and work that is brought home (otherwise they accumulate on and on top of the fridge!) This folder is kept on the top shelf of Elijah’s closet and we will just add to it as the “stuff” comes home.
Frecklebox is full of items that can be used around the house and at school too. I took my Feisty Frugal & Fabulous personalized notebook with me on a local press trip and shared the Frecklbox info with another blogger that commented on my awesome notebook!
