My Fabulous Life

Baby there’s no other superstar, You know that I’ll be your- Papa-Paparazzi

I am so glad that we decided on a new digital SLR camera for Christmas this year, because I’ve been a snap happy mama these past (almost) 2 weeks in the household.  Of course, what fun is taking photos if you can’t share them with everyone right?  Beyond Facebook, I’ve been sending photos to local stores for the grandparents to pick up (love being able to do that and I’ve been able to share files daily by sending photos via email to my sister and close friends.

I sometimes forget to resize my photos which ends up causing me grief – the files from my Nikon are so large that they are nearly impossible to send via email or impossible for the person on the other side to open.  I normally just go into a photo editing program and resize them ahead of time but there’s also programs out there (like Acrobat for example) that can be used to send big files without compromising on the quality, so the person on the other end can print them.

I’m so glad I accomplished my new years resolution of getting all my photos up to the end of 2010 printed and in albums (oh yes I did!) because I think 2011 is going to be a record year for photos in this household…can you blame me?

  • Nope, sure can’t! 🙂 Blame you that is. They’re so much fun to take pictures of…and they’re so preciously ours! 🙂

  • That’s a great idea to send the photos to stores for the grandparents to pick up. My favorite gift from my kids is always pictures of the grandchildren so I bet the pictures are appreciated by the recipients.
When you look at a picture like this don’t you just wonder what they are thinking. Such a cute expression on her face.
