The above is my favorite quote from Disney’s Tangled, out on DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday March 29th! After finally getting the chance to see it this weekend with the family, I wish I had taken my oldest to see it in the theater when it was there. I heard great reviews of the movie then but wondered if a tale about a princess would be appealing for a 6 year old boy (note, it is!)
Tangled is so much more than a Disney fairy tale. Yes, it loosely tells the story of Rapunzel but in a much more fun and modern way. I laughed out loud at several points in the movie, and later Elijah retold some of the funny scenes that cracked us up.
Better yet, there’s a great love story that evolves in the movie – something that I think has been missing in Disney movies lately. I don’t want to give too much away, but in a quick summary I’ll just say that every great review you’ve heard about Tangled is true – it’s that good! Check it out on DVD and Blu-ray (combo disc available as well) Tuesday March 29th.
Delaney saw this movie at a hotel a couple months ago and has been waiting very patiently for it to come out on DVD. We picked our copy up today!
