You know me and my love of the Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum program. I posted recently about the latest redemption event where I redeemed points for $250 in free products. I do this about twice a year and no, it’s not at all difficult if you keep an eye on promotions for bonus points including bonus point weekends and events like the one coming up – this bonus points event works by referrals. You sign up via the link here, and then refer a friend to do the same.
When you register today and then spend $20 (so easy to do) on January 11th, 12th or 13th, you will automatically get 5000 bonus points on your Shoppers Optimum Card! It gets better, by telling your friends and having them sign up via the link in the email sent through the Shoppers Drug Mart site, you could also earn up to an additional 55,000 bonus points (value of $85 right there!) provided they too shop on either of those days and spend the minimum $20.
This is how it’s done boys and girls. Sign up here (obviously I’m being a smarty pants and linking my referral link!) and then email your friends to sign up too so you can gain those points. Then, remember to shop on January 11th, 12th, or 13th (I even send my friends a reminder to shop) and save your points for a bonus redemption day and have fun shopping for FREE at that time! Your 55,000 points are worth $85 but on a bonus redemption day they can be worth even more, that’s the time to redeem!
