We leave for ‘home’, our hometown that is, the day after tomorrow! I’m sure my family is like yours in that the mom is the one responsible for packing for everyone (actually, I make my husband back his own stuff….poor him). I have to smile when I’m gathering ever.y.thing to pack – gone are the days when a cute suitcase, leather briefcase, and of course an alternate pair of shoes (or two) would suffice for a trip. Now it’s a huge suitcase that I could fit in (ok maybe pre-pregnant me could), along with several extra bags of stuff – none of it all that attractive.
I’m excited this year to travel home with a van-load full of gifts because they will actually fit! With room to spare! Yes, I’m still loving the hotness, even more so when we’re taking a 5 hr road trip and we’ll have silence thanks to those beautiful dvd headphones!
