There is something to be said, a very strong argument actually, for finding out your baby’s sex before birth. In all three of my pregnancies we have left it a surprise! I’m a planner, but I’m also a person that needs some motivation – I joke that the surprise of finding out the baby’s sex is what gets me through labor. I already know what fun that involves so I need a big “horrah!” at the end (besides, of course, the beautiful baby wrapped in a cozy warm blanket). So, with baby #3 we have (so far) not found out the sex. Not for lack of trying actually – at our last two ultrasounds we were open to finding out but baby didn’t want to play along and that’s ok. Still, seeing this adorable Pretty In Pink collection from Bright Starts sure makes me want to buy it all in case baby #3 is a girl!
