We’re entering week 5 of the Feisty Frugal & Fabulous Holiday 2010 Gift Guide! I love this time of the year – not only is the hustle and bustle outdoors keeping me busy, but it’s the busiest time of the year online for the blog and I thrive on it. Of course, it’s hard keeping on top of everything and I’m definitely no expert.
Holiday Cards, ack! I just realized this morning that it’s November 29th and my December 1st mail out deadline (self imposed) for mailing out Christmas Cards is looming really close (and I haven’t even started). That is my goal over the next few days with hubby on days off, get those cards out (thanks to Tiny Prints, Storkie, and The Gallery Collection for helping me with cards this year!)
The tree was put up this weekend! My family, since I was a little girl, has been a fan of artificial Christmas trees (we’ve actually never had a real tree!) Hey that’s what pine scented air fresheners and candles are for, right? This picture was taken on Saturday, it’s actually family pic but I edited out poor hubby who was holding Nevaeh (for the most part he’s never on my blog) so Elijah and I get the screen time today! I’m 22 weeks and that’s a big fluffy sweater, that’s all I’m sayin’.
Holiday shopping, for the most part is done! Holiday baking, not so much. I’m not much of a baker so this is the part that takes me the longest (recipes anyone?)
I hope you’re all embracing the season and showing your loved ones how much you care – we’re so excited to go ‘home’ to spend the holidays with family this year – I’m really looking forward to it more than I can say.
