Canadian readers, do you have an M&M Meat Shops in your area? Before my husband and I had kids, I didn’t really know how to cook. M&M Meat Shops was one of my favorite stores back then, because they have a huge selection of ready-made meals which meant no cooking for me (well, beyond putting the item in the oven or microwave, that I could handle!)
M&M Meat Shops is still a place where I shop at least once a month, even though I do know how to cook now (horray!) because not only do they have ready made meals for busy families on the go, they also have a great selection of desserts and frozen side dishes.
What are your favorite M&M Meat Shops products?
Some of mine include the single serving French Onion Soup. You can cook this in the oven but I prefer the microwave – it’s a quick way to enjoy a delicious soup on a cold day.
French Onion Soup is on sale for $2.89 this week (Flyer for BC, AB, SK).
M&M Meats is a one-stop shop for appetizers (my mom loves picking up appetizers from M&M Meats, it’s her “thing” now, lol!) They’re perfect, though, for family gatherings because they’re so easy and quick.
We’re big fans of the Breaded Mushrooms and Battered Zucchini Sticks. As long as you make sure your oven is nice and hot for baking these on a baking sheet (450 degrees), they turn out pretty crispy and are great with ranch dip.
Seasoned Teriyaki Beef Kabobs are my favorite entree from M&M Meat Shops. I fell in love with these when I was pregnant with my first and they’ve been a favorite ever since.
They’re all individually wrapped and easy to defrost this way. Skewer your own veggie kabobs, add in a potato and you have a quick and easy meal.
Other kabobs available include Seasoned Souvlaki Pork, Seasoned Barbecue Chicken and Seasoned Honey Garlic Turkey.
M&M Meat Shops is also known for their tasty deserts! My favorite is the Mini Cream Puffs (on sale this week for $3.49 in BC, AB, SK)! Just defrost at room temperature for about 45 minutes and you’re good to go!
I just picked up a Chocolate Truffle Dream Cake for the first time and it was delicious! Sinfully so. Another popular dessert item that we’ve tried in the past is the yummy Caramel Apple Pie.

I have a $25 M&M Meat Shops Gift Card to give away to one of my Canadian readers!
