Anyone that knows me knows I’m a germo-phobe, especially during cold and flu season. I can’t say that my own sickness (heh) doesn’t come without it’s rewards because my kids generally remain pretty healthy throughout the year. Now that I’ve said that I’m sure we’ll get struck by the flu. In any case, when flu season hits I’ll be prepared! We’ve already had an outbreak of lice in my son’s classroom so my germo-phobe spidey senses are on alert and I’m cleaning and disinfecting like a mad woman since school has started.
Recently, Lysol unveiled their new Mission For Health program designed to offer advice for new moms, school initiative programs and and disaster relief efforts. Obviously, being a mom and a soon to be new mom all over again, I was most interested in checking out the New Mom component of the Lysol Mission For Health. In this section you will find a huge assortment of information and support (including a New Mom forum right on the site).
The site also has an area called Make a Difference with ways in which you can help, as well as information on the Lysol Mission For Health Community Heros Contest (you could win $5000!)
