Do you have your kid’s Halloween costumes figured out yet? No worries if you don’t, there’s still plenty of time. The stores are getting a little picked over, I’ve noticed, but online shopping is a great way to go because their stock is still super! We received the “coolest costume” according to my 6 year old, from Costume Discounters earlier this month and Elijah can’t wait to wear it!
My Super Mario fan is so excited to dress up like his favorite character! We ordered this Super Mario Costume in size Medium (8-10) just to be safe. Elijah is 6 and although the Small 4-6 sounded like an option, I know that when ordering online it’s usually best to order up one size. I was right! When I received the costume, under the Size Medium (8-10) it also says “For 5-7 years”. I don’t know how that makes any sense, but the sizing worked out for us. I can’t see this mentioned in the description on the website anywhere, so my suggestion to Costume Discounters is to add the age sizing info that’s on the package to the website as well.
The costume comes complete with a hat and gloves as well as a beach-ball blow up style belly (not in this picture). It also says, on the packaging, that it comes with a moustache but ours did not (we’re just going to draw one on him). After showing the website and costume to his buddy’s mom, she ordered the Super Mario Luigi Costume for her son – they’re going to be SO CUTE!
