In a recent survey on Camping-Canada.com, 49% of respondents said that the main reason they go camping is for rest and relaxation. Camping in Canada is one of our country’s favorite past times (check out this great resource from Canadian Tire, all about our Canadian past time: http://www.canadiantire.ca/camping).
Some of my best memories as a child are of going out to Good Spirit Lake in southeast Saskatchewan with my parents and dog. My cousins and I often retell stories about our time out there as kids. I hope to give my own children great memories like that; however, we have one small problem – no camping gear!
