Looking for the perfect shirt for your little man for weddings and other special events this summer? Madi Couture, one of my favorite Canadian online stores, has just brought Ben Sherman clothing for kids on board.
It’s no surprise that Ben Sherman would catch the distinctive eye of Mandy Klimpke. The Madi Couture founder has chosen several other couture brands for her store including being the exclusive Canadian retailer for several of them. Some other brands that I’ve had the (fortunate!) pleasure of checking out from Madi Couture include Mimi & Marge and JWLA. Madi Couture also carries The Bomb Mom t-shirts, one of my favorites (truly the softest comfy tee I have), which she brought in after seeing the company featured on my site!
We were sent the Roswell shirt by Ben Sherman for Elijah. It’s the perfect Kindergarten grad shirt and great for summer outings. It’s easy to match this shirt with a pair of cargo shorts for a more casual look too. The tie detail is stitched onto the shirt which makes washing easy – I have another shirt with a tie on it and the tie gets really messed up in the wash (I have to iron it afterwards). That doesn’t happen with this shirt. The fit is pretty bang-on. I was unsure of which size to order (5/6 or 6/7) for my 6 year old and went with the bigger one which was the best choice. The shirt is a slim fit across the chest so I’d suggest going a bit bigger if unsure.
