Now that we are living in an actual city, I am so happy that my kids can enjoy different activities! In our old town there was only an outdoor swimming pool and in Canada that means you have about 2 solid months a year where you can swim, an additional 2 more where you can swim and lose weight from all the shivering you do, and the other 8 months the pool is closed. We have an indoor pool here (hooray!) and Nevaeh and I have been in Mommy & Me swimming classes for about a month now. I have noticed a few dads in the classes and yesterday decided it was my husband’s turn. He begrudgingly did it, and I was all too happy to sit on the benches to watch.
Of course I took my camera with me to capture that perfect Daddy & Me swimming moment. Typically I take tons of pictures but always try and get at least one video and yesterday was no exception. There was nothing particularly significant or hilarious that I captured on video yesterday, just a daddy and his baby girl spending some quality time together. It’s worth millions to me.
Canon has released the PowerShot SX210 IS, which combines the ability to take great photos and also shoot high definition video. Canon and JuiceBoxJungle sponsored me to write this post, and talk about what shooting video means to my family.
