We are slowly getting settled into our new house! We got possession earlier this week and tomorrow my husband goes back to work, his first day on the job here. Tomorrow will be my first day home with the kids in awhile and I’m actually looking forward to it. I finally finished unpacking the kitchen earlier today, so tomorrow will be spent unpacking some boxes in the basement.
I’m glad I purchased little odds and ends ahead of time – would you believe that I studied a picture I took of the kitchen and counted out how many new door handles I would need (by the way, it’s ridiculous how expensive those little things can be!) The problem though is that I didn’t realize that when you change the handle you may also need to change the door hinge because they may not match (grrr).
Yes, these are the things that keep me up at night these days! Tonight is the first night in awhile that I have been able to chill out infront of the tv and be online for more than a few minutes. I have more winners to pick so I will be working on that shortly! Have patience with me though, it’s been a long week! =)
