Silver Jeans

I have been a fan of Silver Jeans for years and years! All the styles I’ve owned have been my favorites in my closet and no other brand has stood up to the test of time, multiple washing, etc., like Silver Jeans. Of course, I’ve purchased discount jeans from other stores, and then have watched them literally wear out in spots after maybe 6 months of wear. Paying a little more for Silver Jeans (albeit not over $100 which rocks) is so worth it. In fact, I have one friend who told me she’s owned a pair of Silver jeans for 10 years now. I wish I wore the same size I did 10 years ago. 😉

Until now, I didn’t even realize Silver Jeans are proudly created and designed right here in Canada, and it’s a family owned company. Now I love them even more than before!

When I was in LA in September at the TJ Maxx Fall Fashion Event, I blogged upon my return about my awesome Silver Jeans score. Those jeans have been washed and worn so much since then! Recently, Silver Jeans spoiled yours truly with 2 pairs of their best selling je
ans. 1 of the styles that I was sent was the Tuesday Bootcut Low Rise Jean.

One of the (many) things I like about Silver Jeans is that they are bang-on for sizing. The only debate I had was in what length to get. You see, most jeans are even-numbered when listing their inseam (30, 32, 34, etc.) and Silver had the option of 31, 33, etc. What’s a girl to do? The tag wasn’t in my LA purchased jeans, so being a 32 inseam, I went for a 33. They were long (but I know a good seamstress). Most people will shop for Silver Jeans in store, but if shopping online, make sure you know your inseam for Silver Jeans specifically by comparing it to others you own (or try on in the store sometime so you’ll have it figured out before a great online sale). I know my friends who are taller than my 5’7″ stature can appreciate a denim company that sells jeans in longer lengths than most.

That’s totally my stomach in the picture above, just so you know. Ok it’s not but let’s pretend. Other features that I liked about the Tuesday Bootcut Low Rise Jeans are the double button at the waist and the extra detail at the waist and on the pockets using colored thread stitching. This style has a distressed look, and my pair in particular had more worn-in patches which I loved. Something really awesome about these jeans is that the worn-in and frayed spots don’t expose your skin underneath because there’s actually a denim patch sewn on the inside. LOVE THIS feature.

The Tuesday Bootcut Low Rise jeans from Silver are definitely my new favorite pair! I know the quality of Silver jeans will stand up to the multiple washings they’re going to get as they’ll be my go-to pair of jeans for a long time. The Tuesday Bootcut Low Rise jeans can be purchased directly from Silver Jeans online for $80.00 (ships to both Canada and the US, among other countries), or you can check out the Store Locator here to find a store near you!
