Word spread today that the blogging community lost a bright light. Karissa, the warm, humorous, friendly and spirited writer at Prissy Green passed away this past weekend. I feel privileged to have called Karissa my friend these past 6 months or so, exchanging silly emails about blogging, friendships, and life in general. I feel like she slipped away. I’m lost, shaken. Karissa loved her work, she took so much pride in what she did and was admired by so many, myself included. I will miss reading her posts and miss her funny emails that always put a smile on my face (she had the best wit and personality, she really did).
