Little boys love cars. Little sisters of little boys who love calls also happen to love cars. And so, when we received the GX Racers 360 Spinway, I had two eager kids (not to mention a husband who loves cars) waiting to try it out.
The GX Racers 360 Spinway is relatively easy to put together – my 5 year old put it together himself the second day he played with it. The GC Racers 360 Spinway is sort of like a pinball game – the task is to set the GX Racer Car spinning and then maneuver the Spinway side to side to get the car (spinning!) down the track and then the ramp at the bottom without it falling off the side.
The box states this toy is for ages 5+ and when we first tried it out, I wasn’t convinced that my 5 year old was able to use this toy in the manner it was made for. However, by the second day he had figured out how to start moving the car down the ramp and understood the basic concept of what the goal of the toy is. However, I think a 7 or 8 year old would have the most success moving the GX Racer down the 360 Spinway.
Other cool products in the GX Racers product line (all available at Jakks Pacific online) include the GX Skateboards line and Tightrope Terror which my little guy now has his eye on. If you have young child who is a car fanatic, chances are GX Racers are in his radar this holiday season already. Little boys ages 5 and up who love race cars and fun tricks and stunts. 5+ is the suggested age minimum, but ages 7-9 would probably have the most fun with these toys.
