UMI Shoes (closed)

This summer was the first opportunity we had to check out Umi Children’s Shoes. My son has worn his Trek sandals from Umi pretty much every day this summer and they have been through a lot! These sandals have been across 3 provinces, and to the lake and back. Add in summer day camp, the park and other daily adventures and I’m happy to say the shoes are holding up well with not a single blister or sore foot complaint. Made with high quality nappa and nubuck leather and only non-toxic materials, Umi means it when they say Umi shoes are flexible, supportive, built to fit, and go the distance. The quality is there, moms!

The company has just released their Fall 2009 collection, and among them I found the Spike shoe (available in 2 colors) which was my instant favorite. How happy was I when Umi sent us the Spike shoe in amber for my little guy to wear to Kindergarten! Based on our previous experience, I know these shoes are going to last him through the fall, winter, and into next spring. Browsing online, I see I’m not the only mom singing the praises of the quality of Umi Shoes. These shoes can handle whatever your kids put them through, and still look oh so hip at the end of the day.
