The theme song to this new hit preschool series brought to you from Nickelodeon Home Entertainment gets stuck in my head whenever I hear it. I don’t know much more than the melody of “O-li-via….O-li-via” but do I really need to? It’s enough to stick in my head for hours.
Olivia a 6 ¾-year-old who is described as a “today’s girl” who “believes she can do anything and sees every day as an opportunity to try new things. On August 11th, Olivia will be available on DVD for the first time, featuring 4 episodes from the hit series (1 of which has never been seen before!) The episodes are: Olivia Acts Out, Olivia Plays Piano, Olivia Trains Her Cat, and Olivia Packs Up.
Based on a picture book released in 2000, Olivia is loved by preschoolers because of the way she relates to everyday problems they too may encounter. Moms like me just happen to like the catchy theme song (it’s stuck in your head now too isn’t it?)
