Home Free – Treats You Can Trust (closed)

Having a daughter with severe food allergies has opened my eyes to the dangers lurking in my own cupboards. It’s absolutely terrifying to get the diagnosis and overwhelming at first to learn what your child can and can not safely eat. My husband and I are constantly reading ingredient labels. I can’t tell you how much a company like Home Free puts a parent’s mind at ease knowing that the products they make are peanut free, tree nut free, egg free and dairy free!

We were sent several delicious cookies to try from Home Free and I’m thrilled to report that not only are they allergy-safe but they also don’t taste like cardboard! Yay!

Cookies can be purchased by the box or individually wrapped. I really liked having the individually wrapped ones available for tossing in the diaper bag to pull out at a restaurant, and I think these would make excellent treats for kids to take along to a birthday party or event where they may not be able to have the dessert served.

The treats at Home Free also happen to be organic which is a bonus for us. I’m just happy to have a safe treat that my daughter can eat so the fact that it is organic is the (allergy-free) icing on the cake!

2 readers are each going to win a box of cookies from Home Free! To enter, just take a look at the Home Free site and leave me a comment about their products, something you learned, etc., here.
