Launched in 2005, Crooked Monkey is the creation of two high school buddies. By March of the following year Crooked Monkey scored a major contract with Lord and Taylor and the rest, as they say, is history. The label can now be found in over 550 retailers around the world including Kitson and Fred Segal.
Their newest addition is Graphic shirts – as they say “Cool graphics with layered meanings”. My favorite is this Old School Knockout shirt.
It’s a 100% cotton, fitted tee shirt that is treated with enzymes to give it a classic soft feel. This shirt feels like it’s been washed and worn for ages, yet looks brand new.
The back shoulder features the Crooked Monkey label, which my husband noticed before I did. It’s a nice touch.
The fit on these shirts is great – a size large was
perfect.
As much as I thought my husband would like the Knockout shirt, he actually has worn this Living The Dream shirt quite a bit. It looks great with jeans or cargo shorts for summer.
