With school coming to an end and summer holidays starting shortly, you’d think there would be no need to worry about labelling children’s items until the Fall. Unfortunately, along with summer holidays, a whole new world of lost items opens up. Summer camp, swimming classes, outdoor programs….the list of places where your little Prince can leave his hat, shoes, or backpack are endless. In the past I’ve done the ‘ol black Sharpie marker trick…but admit it’s neither pretty nor useful (it’s ugly and it rubs off!)
Thankfully, there are companies out there like Oliver’s Labels to help moms keep everything organized and staying with their rightful owner. With labels for virtually everything your child uses, Oliver’s Labels is a one stop shop for summer organization.
I thought the Shoe Labels were an ingenious idea – this way you’re not marking up the inside of your kid’s shoes with a pen or marker (writing on the inside of a shoe is difficult and makes the name pretty much unrecognizable by the time you’re done), and the shoes are perfectly labelled.
Oliver’s Labels has the standard iron-on labels that have been popular for years, but I have to admit it’s been about a year since I’ve actually ironed anything! Oliver’s Labels now has Stick-eez Clothing Labels that simply stick onto any clothing that has a tag. They’re also really useful for other items like a favorite teddy bear (simply stick the label on those care tags sticking out from the bottoms of bears!)
The Original Labels are one of those “covers everything” kind of products. They can be used on most items your family uses daily, and are durable enough to withstand the dishwasher, fridge, and microwave.
I stuck one immediately on my son’s Nintendo DS. Then I was on a mission to see what else I could label (my husband just shook his head at me, I’m an organization-freak!)
Each set of labels I featured here is $19.99 (number of labels varies per package). Up until May 10th, you can save 10% on labels (help mom get organized for mother’s day, would ya?)
