I have wanted a car seat cover for awhile and didn’t know where to start. A carseat cover is really one of those must-haves for life with a toddler. My son’s toddler car seat was disgusting – I had no idea if the fabric itself was even removable or washable and if it was, I didn’t bother reading about it because I was too scared that if I took it off I’d never be able to get it back on again. And so, I wiped it clean when really that thing could have used a pressure washer by the time we were done with it!
I picked a fabric from the Couture Collection Spring/Summer 2009 for my daughter’s carseat.
One side is a fun and fresh design for Spring and Summer, and the other side is a super soft pink minkee fabric.
The cover was easier than I expected it to be to put on, and I loved the new look of the carseat once it was there!
Now, I can easily slip the carseat cover off to wash it as needed (after using it for about 3 weeks it’s already due for a washing…think of your uncovered car seat….ick).
