This month, Small Potatoes has another great product that I get to share with you all! The Changing Pods on Small Potatoes are different than any other change pad I’ve seen out there. As Holly Clarke writes on the site, “Your baby’s not square, why should your changing pad be?”
Changing Pods from Small Potatoes are 100% cotton on one side, 100% polyester on the other but unlike other changing pads, they’re not square. With a squirming baby, especially those that have just learned how to roll or crawl and can not stand to be still for a diaper change, a round changing pod is a no-brainer. Baby can roll this way and that, but at 27″ in diameter, this pad…er…pod…has you covered.
Aside from the cool shape of the Changing Pod, what I liked about it was that it can be personalized to match other items I have (by using the same fabrics for all your shopping choices at Small Potatoes you can have everything matching perfectly). The soft fabric is a nice change from the usual cold plastic changing pad I had been using. I realize plastic is the easy solution to wipe clean but Changing Pods are washable so to me they’re just as useful but this way baby isn’t getting a rude awakening by laying on a cold piece of plastic.
