I once watched an Oprah show where the topic was the germs lurking in your house and I have never been the same since! One important lesson I learned, and please if you do this stop, is that toothbrushes should never ever be left exposed sitting on a bathroom counter. The germs that are in the air in your bathroom do not belong on a toothbrush that ends up in your mouth! My husband and I keep our toothbrushes in covered holders in the cabinet but our little guy always leaves his toothbrush on the side of the sink. I suppose it’s like anything – there’s no fun in putting it away so he often forgets.
