DreamGYM (closed)

How are we feeling mamas, knowing that the end of winter is near? Living on the Canadian prairies, the winters are long and bitterly cold. Living in a small town makes the winters seem even longer – the closest indoor playground is an hour away, and we have no indoor facilities here for sports aside from hockey and curling (great….more cold ice). Cabin fever doesn’t even begin to describe how the kids, and myself, start to feel some days.

DreamGYM has created some absolutely incredible products to help children stay active all year long, inside their own houses. The items are compact, and really don’t take up more than a corner of a playroom. Could you spare a corner of your playroom for an active jungle gym (and a sure sanity saver?) I know I could!

The Indoor Jungle Gym area of the site has several different links to help you decide how to create your own gym area inside your house. The most popular Jungle Gym is just 4′ x 6′, easy to install, and you can add additional pieces to it as needed.

I loved the Jungle Gym for Small Space area, which lists several different pieces that can be purchased on their own, or combined together to make a custom play area.

My favorite item here is the Indoor Climbing Wall! I know my son would have a blast on that, actually I know he’d have fun on any of these pieces, and am going to have to put some serious thought into purchasing a gym.

It just makes sense to have something like this inside our house when we’re stuck inside so many months of the year.

Even during the warm summer months, while you could keep the DreamGYM inside for rainy days, the option is there to use some or all of the pieces outdoors as well.

I am going to have the privilege of reviewing a Disc Swing from DreamGYM once the weather warms up and we can put it in our backyard (I have the perfect huge Poplar tree to hang it from too!)

In the meantime I, like the rest of you, am going to be checking out this site and thinking of what would work best in our home, if I decide to order! Another item I just had to share because the site made me long to have one, is their hammocks.

Take a look at the link here to the Baby Hammocks from DreamGYM and tell me that this doesn’t look like the most comfy, familiar, place for a baby to be.

There’s so many options on the DreamGYM site, and lots of information about the products they carry. DreamGYM products are also used for physical therapy to help develop gross motor skills.

DreamGYM wants to help parents (and grandparents!) make it through the cold winter months, and rainy days of summer, by providing you with products to help little ones burn extra energy, become a rock climber, or perhaps a circus star, all inside your own home.

To help Canadian Feisty Frugal and Fabulous readers beat the winter (and future rainy day) blues, DreamGYM is offering 1 reader the opportunity to win a Disk Swing! Remember, the Disk Swing can be installed indoors or outdoors!

To enter, just go to the DreamGYM site and take a look around. Comment here telling me what item you would absolutely love to have in your own home. Please leave me your province of residence so I know you are indeed Canadian! (thanks)
